My son is 3 and had really high fever on and off for 6 days. Was given amoxicillin day 3. Also had really red eyes and swollen bleeding crackedse lips. Rash on torso and groin light coloured spots. Fever is now gone and eyes and lips looking better. He's still not himself but eating again. Should he still be checked for Kawasaki?

Did his hands or feet turn red and peel off in thick layers? I had my daughter get an ECHO after a very high, lengthy fever after her brother had KD, just to be on the safe side (she was fine) I say error on the side of caution, if you think he may have had it, get his heart checked out.
