My daughter is 1 year old. We don't go out very often. Like only once a month or sometimes none at all. I want my baby to be safe from air pollution. Her dad brought her to the grocery store that night. She's fond of sitting on the carts where babies can sit. She was holding the handles of the cart the whole time. After that, at about 3 am, I noticed she's having a fever of 38 degrees.
The cause is very unclear to me. She just went to the grocery store and that's it. I was pissed off to find out she has kawasaki when I'm trying to keep her safe.
I don't smoke, nor does my husband. I have no vices, nor my husband.
other info: 1)change of milk 2 days before. from Gain advance to Pediasure complete
2) blood type B+
3) had sepsis when she was newly born but cured 19 days after
4) 2 days before, on her monthly check up, our doctor already noticed the a small lump on her neck while she was examining her. It was not visible. Probably that was already kawasaki. Before the fever, maybe it was already there
5) baby not fond of drinking milk. She is breast fed most of the time. We switched to Pediasure because she was underweight. She liked pediasure the first time she tasted it.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: don't trust CRP too much. My daughter got a negative CRP even though she already has the symptoms of kawasaki. Her arteries are already slightly damaged (2d ECHO result) . what if I relied on the CRP? what could have happened to her? That's why if the symptoms already show, on the seventh day, have her IVIG transfusion already.
we went to the grocery store before she had her fever
