Hello Mums!
My son is almost 2 years post Kd ( he is now 4)
What I have noticed is that he is always the first to fall ill and catch a viral infection!
I looked for yakult here but couldn't find it! The next best to boost his immunity was homemade yogurt.
So all summer he was on a yogurt drink and I did notice an improvement! Both the kids didn't fall sick!
If they did catch something, they over came it in 2 day with minimum temperature!

Lately i have come across the miracle probiotic called Kefir (milk / water)
It boasts of more types of yeasts and bacteria then the probiotics available in the market!
Also it's a ancient practice now becoming popular!
I was wonder if anybody has any personal experience with trying this?
Will low immunity it could do WONDERS for KD kids! But as most mums can understand I'm scared to try something new without being sure! I've searched and googles and it seems okay and highly recommended end for people with autoimmune diseases but will that okay for the little ones?
Will really appreciate feedback!

Ask your pediatrician if any supplement is safe for a child

Thanks for sharing. My son Owen catches EVERYTHING. he has been sick every month post KD diagnosis 1.5 years ago. I don't think it's a coincidence that my son who catches everything had KD.

It may actually be a coincidence

My daughter who did NOT have KD catches everything and is sick twice as long as the rest of the family

My son who had KD, has only had two "sick" visits to the Doctor in the 11 years since he had KD

Owens mama, how is your son now? My son is recovering from KD and I worry about any possible complications in the future.
