Wow, this was an interesting read! My son had KD on his admission papers and by the time he was discharged the two diagnoses listed were sepsis and adeno/entero virus. (He was not treated for KD.) HJ had several of these diagnostic markers for the virus including exudative pharyngitis. They did the virus screen which was negative, but the doc said it isn't 100%.
