This study would apply to my son who was Dx w/ severe asthma at 6mo, bacterial respitory illnessess starting as an infant resulting in several hospitalizations.

Interesting, stating that the same genetic factor for KD could predispose a child to respitory bacterial illness - not suggest bacterial respitory illness as a cause of KD.
