KD Awareness Event in Delaware County, Pa THIS WEEKEND

Hello Everyone,
First of all let me apologize in advance for the extremely short notice; but I was just referred to this KD forum by a trusted friend/fellow KD parent.

My family and I are hosting "The Kawasaki Disease Awareness 5K Fun Walk : In Honor Of Reese Gladfelter". This event was put together to honor my youngest daughter Reese, she was diagnosed on 8/22/2011 at 4 months of age and we were so lucky that we were able to get a diagnosis and treatment before any permanent damage was done. I know there are many families out there that are not so lucky and I want to help change that. This event will hopefully bring more awareness to the community about KD. This event is a 5K Fun Walk, you do not need to be a runner to participate, you can walk or run whatever is easiest and most enjoyable for you. We will also be having face painting, massages, raffles and food. This event is being held This Saturday May 5th, 2012 at Sun Valley High School Track in Aston, PA. This is a kid/stroller friendly event. Kids 0-6 are free. Kids 6-11 are $15. Adults are $25. Registration/check in begins at 9am. Walk begins at 10am.
