KD Support Groups in AK?
After my daughter was diagnosed this past December I decided to write a letter to my local Mayor and Governor in hopes of getting Kawasaki Disease Awareness day recognized here in Alaska. I received a return call from the Mayor's office today and they are excited to be a part of it. They, as well as I, are wondering if there are any groups in this area (like a family support group) who they could read the proclamation to. I am not aware of any, but would be interested in getting one together. Any suggestions?
