Is there any Walk in Houston,Texas?

Post by lilmstxdancer »

i was wondering if there were any walks, in houston or somewhere in texas. If not can we please have one. I know alot of people who would support this. Because i was treated for this illness. And i'm very lucky for the doctor at Texas Childern Hospital who knew the signs of Kawasaki and worked with Tomisaku Kawasaki. So please i would love to know any event in texas for this

hi

Check out this link to the American Heart Association "Heart Walk" website, it has a locate a walk near me feature :)

Good Luck ! My son has had a Heart Walk team in RI called "Kawasaki Kids" since 2003 and it is a wonderful way to
raise awareness of KD as well as raise money !

best

Hi. I live in Houston and my son was just diagnosed/treated at Memorial Herman in Jan. I wish that I had known that there was a specialist at Texas Children's I would have gone there after they misdiagnosed him the 2nd time... Anyway, would love to help somehow make a walk a reality here.

My four year old is currently recovering from KD in Houston! We are exactly two weeks from the day he was diagnosed. I really want to get something started here, whether it be a blood drive or a walk. Let's get something together! :)
