For you folks on the west coast (or not!) here is a KD event being planned in Seattle in June. Hopefully this cut and paste will work!! It looks like there is an RSVP......I am probably going to try to make it to this event.

questions answered by some of the leading physicians in the field, and meet
with other parents and families who have been affected by Kawasaki Disease.

Cardiology Research at Seattle Children’s Hospital

• Dr. Anne Rowley: Attending Physician in Infectious Disease Division of
Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Professor of Pediatrics and
Microbiology-Immunology
Search for the Cause of Kawasaki Disease
• Dr. Nagib Dahdah: Interventional Cardioligist, Sainte-Justine University
Hospital Center, Montreal
Long Term Follow Up of Kawasaki Disease

Also featuring a presentation on a patient’s perspective on living with Kawasaki
Disease and a representative from the Kawasaki Disease Foundation. All
speakers will be availabe for questions in an open forum following a meet and
greet coffee break.

From points North (& East via 520)
- Take I-5 South to exit 166 (Stewart St. toward Denny Way)
- Turn slight right onto Stewart St.
- The U-Park entrance is on the corner of Boren & Stewart
- Walk one block along Stewart St. to the Research Institute on 9th & Stewart

From points South (& east via I-90)
- Take I-5 North to exit 166 (Olive Way)
- Turn slight right onto Olive Way
- Turn left onto E Denny Way
