Need Help - Support Group/Fundraiser Event in Oklahoma City

Hello my name is Marsha and my grandson (Kameron) just got KD September 5, 2008. I want to bring about an awarness and help raise money to futher research of the effects and recovery of KD. No one i asked ever heard about KD including me and that is a problem.

Martha, I would help you if I lived there. I live in New York and Im trying to do what you are trying to do. So far a few great parents from Miami beach, Texas, Delaware.I need NY NJ CT Monday Im calling the hospitals to leave my name and number for parent kd support so hopefully kd area families will contact. I am new to the KD but if you would like any help please let me know. I live in Pryor which is about 40 miles northwest of Tulsa. My daughter was just diagnosed on June 26th 2009. She is 8 yrs old. I'm just one of those moms that I want more information and if that means raising money to do the reseach so that other people that are new like me can get all the info they need. -Kim-
