Possible KD? Please help

Hello,

My Nephew who is 7 years old has had Fever and Rashes on his legs (a few on buttocks too) for 8 days now. His lymph node on right side of the neck has been swollen to golf ball size for 8 days too. Infectious diseases doctor says rashes is due to HSP and lymph node swelling could be due to a virus.
But I am a bit concerned it could be KD because of the swelling in the lymph node.

Is it possible for rashes from KD to be only on legs? I dont want to worry his parents by suggesting KD since Doctor diagnosed him with HSP.

Is he in Children’s Hospital now? If not, I highly recommend a deeper diagnosis including Echo at Children’s Hospital. The best timing for IVIG treatment is between Day 5 to Day 10. Good luck!
