Our miss Jayda has come so far since her first being diagnosed. Within the last year they ordered her to have a sedated Cardiac MRI which caused concern by her cardiologist that she may have needed a stent placed in one of her arteries. After a Cardiac Catherization it showed that her aneurysms that at one time were described as giant are now looking almost normal. Jayda still continues on 1 ASA Daily. She is now 9 years old and has the most amazing personality and great sense of humor. Jayda now plays in competitive soccer, plays basketball and is in a marathon running club with her school. We do not limit her in any of her activities as she is fully aware of her limits (which to date are none).
From her initial diagnosis at 5 months old to now, we never thought that Jayda would be able to do even half of what she has. We are so proud of her and all she has been through and has always taken every test, appointments and procedures without hesitation. We hope her story can give someone who is where we were in the beginning some hope!
