8 month old recently diagnosed with KD

My son, 8 month old, was just been treated with KD ,on May 24, he has 3 of the classic signs of KD, fever for more than 5 days, rashes all over his body, he was on his 8th day of having a fever and viral panel is all negative.ESR and CRp are elevated. but his dr. went ahead and treat him with IV Igg and high dose of Aspirin, after the echo came back and shows mild dilation of his Coronary artery. his fever went down and rashes fading for the next 36 hours. he responds well to the treatment, he is back to being active and eats well. no fever, his chapped, bleeding lips are also gone. its a relief that his body responds to the treatment. and before we left the hospital, his doctor said his platelet count was then elevated , and confirms that it is KD. now he is on high dose of aspirin until he see his cardiology to follow up. his ESR and CRP are still elevated but continously going down, his platelet is higher, which means his responding to the aspirin. im still concern on how long he will be on aspirin, and will his artery will go back to normal soon. i monitor my child closely, checking his temperature for fever, and his activities because he is on high dose of aspirin, prone to bleeding. I just noticed that his behavior change,more temper tantrums? arching his back more often when he doesnt want anything or when he cant get what he wants. Normal? my family and I are still having anxiety for what our baby has, most especially on how he got it? i wanted to know all the informations about KD, possibe cause, etc. very rare and alarming.
