What can be expected from recovering from Kawasaki's

Post by leonie »

Hi, my 15mth old son was diagnosed with Kawasaki's late April and received immunoglobulin within the 10 days of having his first fever. He's currently on aspirin, and I am seeing him improving, but also he cries in pain particularly at nights. External symptoms have ceased, his echo and ecg were fine in hospital. Just wondered if its normal for them to feel off for a number of weeks post treatment. Thanks in advance for any info. Leonie

We are in the same boat! We just had the same routine with our 11 month old. During the day she is fine but at night usually around midnight or later she awakes crying sometimes nothing we can do to ease her. How long did this go on for you? Is it still an issue?

We are in the exact same boat! Our son was diagnosed in June. He was 10 months when diagnosed. We went through the usual scary process of not knowing what is going on. He had his first echo with good signs.

Would really like to hear from others on this thread about their experiences with their kids after recovery.
