Had I'd as a kid should I be worried?
Hello my name is stacey. I am new to this forum. I am 34 yrs of age and had I'd back in 1986. I'm a white female from Michigan in the US.I don't remember too much about it but I was reading some things online that freaked me out like it might of damaged my heart and back in approx 2009 I had an EKG done which detected an abnormality. A heart murmur. They told me at some point in my middle age I would prob need surgery to repair a valve. Should I be worried?

Realize this is an older post, but still on the front page. Hope you see this.
KD in 80. No heart murmur, but high BP and elevated LDL this year. Ended up with triple bypass 8 weeks ago. Blockages in right main and partial in LDL. I'd see a cardiologist. It likely saved my life, and I hadn't seen one since being discharged at 18.
