Our son, 6 years old, has not been officially diagnosed Kawasaki but he has a strong case per the cardiologist.
25 days later, my son has some little purple purpura dots on leg and trunk. Few days later they multiply and now are everywhere on his legs. He has pain and swelling that moves around. While it is possible to have a rare disease, is it plausible to have another at the same time ?
They are saying this new presentation is HSP.
Suspected Kawasaki and now HSP ? Anyone, please

Just an update, our son does in fact have HSP.
We saw over 16 doctors, lots of blood drawn and biopsies.
He now has mild kidney involvement from the HSP but we are expected to return to normal with no blood or protein in the urine within one year, if not sooner.

Hello,
Is the kawasaki diagnose still accurate? Hope baby is doing better.
