I can't second this enough. I contracted KD in 80. I was considered cured when discharged at 18.
I recently went through a triple bypass tied to calcification and early onset CAD, likely due to Kawasakis. As your children get older, instill the importance of ongoing care.

Realize this is an older post, but still on the front page. Hope you see this. KD in 80. No heart murmur, but high BP and elevated LDL this year. Ended up with triple bypass 8 weeks ago. Blockages in right main and partial in LDL. I'd see a cardiologist. It likely saved my life, and I hadn't seen on...
