My daughter just turned 2 this month. About 7 days ago she started with a low grade fever that got up to 102.7. I had to treat with Tylenol and Motrin around the clock for 4 days. It’s getting better now, but she still has a low grade fever from time to time.
She also has a very red and swollen lymph node. We went to urgent care because our doctor couldn’t see her, and they were so concerned about it’s size they sent us to the ER. The ER was not concerned about it and said it was just large but nothing to worry about.
Then her eyes become blood shot, no discharge, and she has strawberry tongue and red lips.
No rash, no swollen palms. But she is complaining of leg pain now.
My husband wants me to just keep an eye on her- and since the fever is going away he’s not so worried. When I mention KD he says there’s so rash and brushes me off.
Since she doesn’t have a high fever anymore and no rash am I just being overly cautious?
What else could cause strawberry tongue and bloodshot and glassy eyes?
